What Is the Good News or "Gospel"?
The Good News is that Jesus Christ, the sinless Son of God, loves you very much and died in your place to pay the penalty for your sin.
Four Things You Should Know:
Everyone Has Sinned - "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23
Sin Has a Penalty - "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" Romans 6:23
Christ Paid Our Penalty - "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that, while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
Trust in Christ and His Sacrifice for You - "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16
"For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness God in Him."
2 Corinthians 5:21
"That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9,10
